The centrifuge is specially designed for water and sediment determination, as well as characterization of used oils and petrol features as demulsibility and precipitation. A choice of accessories for spin cylinder/conical tubes of 6 and 8 inches, pear/shaped of 6 inches as well as finger tubes of 12.5 ml.

This test method covers the detection of the corrosiveness to copper of aviation gasoline, aviation turbine fuel, automotive gasoline, natural gasoline or other hydrocarbons having a Reid vapour pressure no greater than 18 psi.

The Tamson ASTM D1298 density apparatus is an apparatus to determine the density of petroleum products by hydrometer. The apparatus consists of the Tamson TLC15-5 cooling circulator and a rack with jacketed cylinders to keep the samples at the desired temperatures. The apparatus has three positions and can optionally be extended to a six position apparatus.

The Tamson TV-Series visibility bath is specially designed for tests that require ultra-precise temperature control and need to be followed visually, e.g. determination of kinematic viscosity (conforms to ASTM D445, IP 71), thermometer and sensor calibration, density and reaction rate measurement, etc. The TV-Series is a very robust bath. All wetted parts are made from stainless steel. The bath is equipped with large double windows that provide excellent visibility. The bath offers three positions for kinematic viscosity determinations.

The TLC80-14 ASTM D6922 bath is an apparatus for the determination of homogeneity and miscibility in automotive engine oils. For this test method it is necessary to use both a TC16 high temperature bath and a low temperature cloud and pour point bath. Tamson can supply both apparatus. The TLC40-14 and TLC80-14 ASTM D6922 offer position for seven jackets, as is prescribed in the test method.
