AD Systems

AD Systems specializes in designing, manufacturing, and servicing testing equipment for assessing the physical properties and performance of fuels and lubricants. Their innovative products have become industry standards, and they actively participate in standardization bodies like ASTM, Energy Institute, ISO, and BNPé.

Automated REID vapor pressure analyzer

The AutoREID apparatus from AD systems is a modern automated Reid Vapor pressure instrument in full compliance with ASTM D323-B and similar standards. This specification test method covers procedure for the determination of vapor pressure of gasoline, volatile crude oil, and other volatile petroleum products. The Reid method is particularly suitable for determination of vapor pressure of crude oil for transportation, storage and general handling purpose. The instrument directly measures the Reid vapor pressure without correlation or calculation.

CT10 - Corrosion Tester

The CT10 precisely measures the Spindle corrosion according to the selected standard, after being exposed in the oxidation bath. The CT10 strictly follows the test method removing the subjectivity inherent to the manual test and significantly improving repeatability and reproducibility with a final evaluation which eliminates disputes between shipper and receiver of the product. Methods: ASTM D665. D7548, NACE TM0172, IP 135, ISO 7120, JIS K2510

DR10 - Deposit Rater

Thermal Oxidation Stability of Aviation Turbines Fuels ASTM D3241 - Annex 2

DT100 - Dispersancy Tester

Monitoring the amount of soot in diesel engine lubricant oil is important but more important is to measure the dispersancy of the oil. This gives important information on the residual capacity of the oil in service to keep carbon soot in suspension and prevent sludge formation. Depletion of detergent and dispersant additives leads to rapid agglomeration and deposition of soot onto machine surfaces. It can increase wear and damage engine components. In addition water or glycol contamination can quickly knock out dispersancy performance even without an increase in soot load.

ST10 - On-site Residual Fuel Compatibility Tester

AD Systems has developed a portable on-site fully automated instrument for compatibility and cleanliness of residual fuel oil and distillate according to ASTM D4740 spot test. On board a vessel the ST10 is a good way to measure the compatibility of marine fuels (DM, HSFO, RM, ULSFO, VLSFO).

SV10 - Automated S-value

Intrinsic Stability of Asphaltenes ASTM D7157 Crude Oils, Residues, Heavy & Marine Fuel Oils

VD10 - Automated Video Distillation

Atmospheric Distillation of Petroleum Products and Liquid Fuels ASTM D86, D850, D1078, ISO 3405, IP 123
